I am so thankful for my beautiful family!!!

After looking at this page, it makes me really appreciate what I have. We have Jackson, our beautiful little boy who is now 13 months and growing up so fast!!! There's days that I want to just give him away, but things such as this make you cherish every moment you have with your loved ones! Tonight when I put Jackson to bed, before even going to this page, I spent extra time with him singing him just one more song and giving him one more kiss. At this point, I just want to go wake him up and hold him and love him. I plan to live everyday to it's fullest and enjoy everything I have. To my family... I love you all!!! :)

Oregon Zoo

Today Andy, NaDell, Elizabeth, Olivia and Vincent came to Vancouver for the day. We went to McDonald's for lunch when they got here and then headed for the train stop to ride to the zoo. It was a lot of fun!!! All the kids were well behaved too, so that's an added plus!!! After the zoo, we came back to our house where Jes was home, out of school. We went to dinner at Burgerville and they are on their way home now. It was a great day!! Thanks for coming guys!!!

Our little boy... the cowboy

He doesn't wear the hat very often... as you'll see in a below picture.

Yah, he hates the hat!! poor guy!

I thought this one was pretty cute!!!

For Halloween we decided to just get him cowboy boots and a hat. Jes' Grandma bought him a cute cowboy shirt and so we have a cheap costume and he can wear it more often than 1 time.

He actually kept it on longer than 5 seconds!!

Teething +Fever= NO SLEEP!

Last night around 3am, Jackson started crying... I went in to check on him and when I went to picked him up he was burning up!!! Of course this scared me because he has only had a fever one other time besides this. Luckily I have friends and siblings with their kids going through the exact same thing! Those molars are just kicking his fanny! haha He seems to be feeling a lot better today... just really tired!!!
This picture was taken when he woke up in the night... he looks so sad!

My Birthday...

Yesterday was my 22nd birthday as most of you already knew. It was great!!! Jes took the day off and was planning on making me breakfast, but I got to impatient (as usual) so we went to McDonald's. Jackson didn't mind that though. After that we all just hung out at home. Jackson got a good morning nap and then after that we went grocery shopping which is something I truly enjoy. We went to Costco for a huge shopping trip and to Wal-Mart for a couple of things. Then about 5:30 I went and dropped Jackson off at my friend Angela's house for him to hang out there while we went out to dinner. We invited one of Jes' classmates from his Paramedic class, Dustin and his wife Kristin to go with us. We went to an Italian restaurant. It was pretty good. When I called Angela to let her know we were on our way to get Jackson, he just started SCREAMING!! I was like oh know, is everything okay? I think he heard my voice. He had a hard time... between it being later in the evening, molars coming in and not being left very often since we don't know too many people here, it was hard for him! I completely understand!!! He stayed up for 2 hours with Jes and I... we were starting to wonder when he was going to get tired. Thanks to everyone who sent cards, flowers, necklaces, gift cards and for all the phone calls!! Here's a picture of me with the necklace that my mom made for me. I could've had Dustin or Kristin take a picture of Jes and I... I completely forgot about my camera while we were out... it was in my purse.

summer is turning into fall so fast!!

So the other night I decided that I was going to do something different with my hair... I didn't want to lose the length or change the color, I just wanted something different, so I trimmed up my "side sweeps" and now they're more of bangs. Jes doesn't like them, but I do! I've got comments saying I look older, not just a girl babysitting all the time. I hate it when people think I'm babysitting Jackson... he's mine! I'm almost 22. I guess it's good to look younger, I'll appreciate it someday. =) Here's a picture:

I love it!

Jes has decided that his job just isn't working out... he works completely off of commission and it's just getting to be way too much. He's applied for numerous hospitals around to be an ER Tech. So far, most of those jobs are swing shift, but anything is better than what he's doing. Some days he will drive more than 200 miles and still not sell. He gets 10 dollars per show and then the commission if he sells it. Normally his show takes about 2-3 hours so if he doesn't sell he makes sometimes like 3 dollars an hour. It's no good. We're hoping he finds something soon!!!

For my birthday, we're having my friend Angela from my Mommy Group watch Jackson. Jes and I are going to go out to dinner and Jackson can go and play with his little buddy Carston. I think they'll have fun! Carston is 13 months.

Jackson continues to learn new things everyday. He's so silly and so energetic!!! He loves to play outside. Since we have all bark in our back "yard" I call it our back bark, his legs are all scratched up because he like to move all the bark and play in the dirt. In order for me to make dinner or get anything done, I just leave the sliding door open and he lets himself in and out, bringing me rocks, bark and any other treasures he finds. It is sure entertaining!! The back is completely fenced in just in case you're wondering. I hope you all have a good week!!

I just couldn't resist taking this picture
He was trying to escape... ha ha

He's so busy!!!
