Happy Birthday to Jes!!!

Thanks to those of you that helped me figure out what to make this say!!! I think it turned out really good... and it's hiding from Jackson until we get home tonight from the Portland Trail Blazers game. Jes is such a hardworking guy, he didn't even ask for his birthday off... Just in case you can't read what it says I'll translate.

Happy Birthday Jes!!! Hey you Big Hunk! You're worth way more than 100 Grand to Jackson and me. It's like we're the 3 Muskateers. I'm lucky you skittle'd into my life. We've had plenty of Snickers and Mounds of fun. You're our lifesaver and we love you so much! Love, Janessa and Jackson... then there's a floating payday and twix. :)

So... since we're going to the Blazer's game tonight and Jes had to work and the game is right by his work... we took him there this morning so we won't end up with 2 cars in Portland. Jackson and I headed back towards Vancouver heading to WinCo and he fell asleep, soc I when we got home I figured he's tired, so I'll put him down... after finishing the candy bar chart I heard him cracking up in there... this is what I found!!!

HELP!

I've been trying to figure out what to do for Jes for his birthday. Today I finally figured it out... well sort of. I'm hoping for some suggestions. So far I've made this big poster board out of 9 sheets of colored paper and now I'm trying to decide what to make it say. I want to do one of those candy bar charts. Here's the 2 ideas I have so far that I found online. Anyone willing to help me out is welcome! I think both these ideas are kind of odd... but do-able.

Idea #1

Happy Birthday Jes!!
Now that you're 22, do you hear a (symphony) of (snickers)? Do your bones (krackel) and (crunch)? Does the old (bun) feel a little (chunky)? Do you act like a (butterfinger)? Have your (whoppers) turned into (milk duds)? Have the old (whatchamacallit) gone to (mars)? Don't worry, stay (carefree)... We still think you're worth (100 Grand). Love, Janessa and Jackson

Idea #2

Happy Birthday Jes!!
We love you so much, we get the (skittles) when we're with you. You are (mounds) of fun and always make us (snicker). You are so (kissable). On your (extra) special (payday) you can travel to (New York) or the (Milky Way) and see a (starburst) as you (orbit). You are such a (lifesaver) because you always make us smile. Celebrate by doing the (twix) dance. (Hugs and Kisses), Janessa and Jackson

So please... if any of you are better at this than me, share!!! :)

Jackson's doing good. He's getting so big!!! Last night Jes asked me if I thought he was getting taller and I think he is. He's been taking 3-4 hour naps. It's nice, don't get me wrong... just not normal. I'm not complaining though.

Here he is sporting a pair of my glasses.

Family Gathering

Here's my brother Jeff... home from Cuba with all the nieces and nephews that were there. Sorry about Jackson's binky. It was a binky picture or he'd be crying just like Lydia next to him.

All 8 of us!! The original Crowther family. Christopher is by my legs headed to his daddy, Brant.

It's early!

So I finally convinced Jes to go to Urgent Care this morning. Yesterday morning he woke up at 4am and noticed that his tongue felt a little bigger than normal... so he took a Benadryl thinking, perfect... I'll be better by morning. Nope, he woke me up at 6:30 asking me to look at his tonsils. (Which I couldn't see because of his tongue) So he called in sick and stayed home with Jackson while I worked 12-6. I got home from work and he said he just didn't feel good at all. I figured by now whatever it was would be gone... but no. So here I am got woke up at 5am this time to him shaking in pain. His right tonsil is so swollen that you can tell just by looking at him. :( Poor guy!!! I told him he should go to Urgent Care and got the "Yeah, I know". That wasn't enough... I handed him the insurance card and told him if he goes now he won't have to wait as long. He just text'd me and he is the only one there! I'm hoping he gets better soon!!! We actually have plans this weekend... and some are with YOU! (whoever's reading this) I'm hoping he can get on some antibiotics today and be good to go by this weekend. Wish us luck!!!

Oh and a side note... I went to Les Schwab and had our snow tires taken off this week and what do you know? It snowed last night. Story of my life.

One more thing... I have a friend that went to Walla Walla University that I met working at Applebee's. She lives up this way now and called me the other day asking if I'd like to make some extra money... YEAH! So I'm not going to be dog/cat sitting for her co-worker for 2 weeks. All I have to do is feed and water both of them and let the dog out a couple times a day. I called him and he said, "Is $25.00 a day good?" I was in shock, but also just so happy that I can help and make extra money at the same time. I checked my schedule yesterday and I work 1 day next week and it's just a 5 hour shift. I'm assuming you're all asleep by now... Hope everyone has a good day!!!

Playing with blocks!

This was Jackson after getting home from urgent care trying to figure out what was wrong with him...

OUT!!! so sick!!! poor baby!!!

"Jack"

haha I might use this one at work!!! It'll probably be easier with smaller babies.

Well tonight when Jes got home from class, we had a nice dinner then just played and played and played!!! We're just happy that Jackson's finally feeling better. I'm not quite sure what he had but he had a nasty cough and a fever as high as 104 degrees!! EEK!!! He's doing so much better now, just coughing out the last of his coughs and almost back to normal besides the amoxicilin effects. I decided to play with blocks cause it's rare for us to get them out since they end up everywhere since there's so many, so it's always special when they come down. Jackson enjoyed it... and so did we!!!
"I love you"
"Jackson" I tried to get him to sit next to it and he wouldn't...

In 30 minutes it's my Daddy's birthday!!! I love my dad so much. He is such a great guy and very soft spoken and nice! My dad hardly ever raised his voice growing up. I love you dad, I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!!! Love your baby girl! Janessa & family

This picture was taken in November when my parents came to visit. Dad was being silly for the camera.
