Pictures
So just in case we do end up moving in the next couple of weeks I figured I had better take advantage of my discount at the Picture People, so I took Jackson in today. Plus, we got the coolest airplane prop the other day and I knew he'd love it!!!
Click on the picture to view them all bigger. This is how it is on our wall... now I think we just need a new family picture soon!! Maybe when he's 2!! Holy smokes that's not too far away!!

My baby is growing up...
Friday after Jackson's doctor appointment we headed for Tri-Cities to go to Brytnee's wedding. We got to my NaDell's at about 2:30pm. I was 90 miles from her house and realized I forgot my whole bag at home!!! AHHHHH NaDell, Elizabeth, Olivia, Vincent, Jackson and I all headed to Kohl's. Luckily NaDell has an eye for deals cause she found me a good one! I don't even think anyone took a picture of me in the dress, but it's cute! It's blue, black and white with a cute design on it and it buttons all the way down the back. After Kohl's I headed over to Jes' sister Shari's apartment. She moved back to Walla Walla on Saturday from Tri-Cities so we hung out while she got some things packed up so she could see Jackson. After that Jackson and I headed to Wal-Mart to pick up some essentials to survive a night... ie; deodarent, mascara and a cell phone charger. Then I headed over to Dominic and Cassie's house to stay. Cassie had just gotten off work when I got there. She made lasagna for dinner. It was yummy!!! Jackson had two servings!!! Probably cause I stopped at the McDonalds in Biggs and he threw all his chicken nuggets. STINKER! After Jackson went to sleep Cassie and I headed to Yoke's for junk food! It's our thing... everytime I stay there we eat way too much sugar! We got Ben and Jerry's Cake Batter ice cream, chocolate fudge brownie ice cream, twizzlers, reisens and candy bars. (just a big hunk and a look bar) I woke up at 6am to Jackson climbing out of his playpin... *sigh* I've been considering putting him in a toddler bed and this made my decision. He'll be 20 months Tuesday so I guess he's close enough to '2'. I tried so hard until 8 to keep him from waking Dominic, Cassie and Giovanni... he finally got so hard to keep quiet so we went for a drive to put him to sleep, then Cassie called when they all woke up and I went back hoping I could just lay him down in Giovanni's crib... NOPE! He was all awake! So we went and helped make waffles for breakfast and ate. Then we headed to visit Milton, Christen, Jared, Seth, Coy, Trevor and Lydia. Jackson enjoyed playing with his cousins. Christen helped me button my dress up cause the top buttons are hard to reach and we headed off for the wedding. Finally on the way there Jackson fell asleep. I put him in the stroller with his Thomas blanket over him (see picture) and thought he'd be out for awhile... nope, he woke up within 20 minutes. The wedding was a little shorter than mine and for those of you that were at mine know that means it was only about 8 minutes! Jackson did great. Afterwards at the reception is where he got grumpy again. We didn't stick around for long. After leaving there we headed for Joe, Kori, Colby and Samuel's house to say hey. I left Jackson asleep in the car for this stop. I had tried too many times and failed. I'm glad they understood. I got to hold Samuel. He is a cutie!! He smiles a lot too. Colby was offering me his oreos that he already ate all the frosting off of. Silly boy!! After that I headed to Jes' Grandpa Bob's house for pizza and to meet up with some of Jes' family. They go to Arizona for the winter so they hadn't seen Jackson since last summer. He kept them all entertained. Since I forgot my bag at home I didn't have my glasses, so Jes suggested I leave Tri-Cities by 4 at the latest to get home before dark. I don't see well in the dark with my contacts. Jackson and I headed out at 4:20, I know... I cheated a little. It takes time to say goodbye. We got home exactly 3 hours later. I don't stop when it's just Jackson and I. It's too hard to hold him while I go to the bathroom or whatever and I can't just leave him in the car. He slept for an hour on the way home and was really excited to see Jes!!! We had tuna melts for dinner. He loved them. I put 2 pictures up in our dining area of Jes and I at a sweethearts dance and prom and Jackson kept pointing to it saying PAPA. haha He's so funny. This morning Jes had to leave early to be on shift all day so I got up before Jackson anticipating him trying to climb out of his crib. He tried again... so I converted his crib to a toddler bed today. He loves it!!! Although... now that it's approaching bedtime he's not too into it. Wish me luck tonight!!! Here's some cute pictures from our weekend!!!
This is him just a few minutes ago... this didn't last long... he's out here watching Thomas for the 50th time today! (BTW, he did take a 2 1/2 hour nap in it today. There's hope for tonight!)

more awesome weather!!
It's continued to stay really nice this week and we're taking full advantage of it!!! We've been bbq'ing just about everyday and playing outside all day. Jackson's desperately needs a bath every night because of all the playing!! Jes is bathing him right now. We just had bbq'd chicken, pasta salad and chocolate cupcakes for dessert. It was delicious! I'll leave you with pictures that will make you laugh!... at least they made us laugh!
peeing outside... wow

Life
It has been a busy last couple of weeks!!! Between work, keeping up with Jackson and house work I have not done a whole lot. Jes is now working about 30 hours a week at Sears, on shift at the fire department for 24 hours every 2 days AND starting his clinicals. I just have to keep telling myself it will only be for 2 months and it will fly, but last night was the first one and he's laying on the couch next to me trying to catch some sleep cause he was up all day yesterday, then did his clinical from 11pm-7am and is supposed to be on shift today... he told them he'd be in about 1pm today. He'll stay the night there and we won't see him until he gets off work tomorrow at 2pm. Luckily that is when I get off too, so we'll get to see each other. :) It probably won't always work out that good, but for now I'm glad!
Jackson is learning new vocabulary everyday. He says 'baby' 'ball' 'please' 'thank you' 'Mommy' 'Daddy' 'Gamma' 'Papa' 'book' 'Alysssssse' (Jes' little sister) 'kitty-cat' 'doggy' and many many more!!! I hope everyone is having a Happy Spring so far! I'll leave you with some fun pictures!

Happy Easter!
We still have yet to color Easter Eggs. Maybe we'll do that when Jackson wakes up from his nap... or just skip it this year. Some friends invited us over for dinner tonight, so that should be fun! We wish we could be home, but figure a quick trip just for dinner wouldn't be ideal.
Side note: Jes is FINALLY finished with Paramedic classroom time!!! He took his final on Friday and feels really good about it! Tuesday is his last day going to the classroom and it's just orientation for his clinicals. He has today off, the first in a LONG time and doesn't know what to do since he doesn't need to study anymore. He also got a promotion at work and will be making just over $2 more an hour!! We're feeling like there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel!!! Thanks for all of your support!!!

Zoo
My friend Kirstin invited Jackson and I to go to the Zoo with her and her kids Adeline and Tommy. Adeline is going to be 2 at the end of May and Tommy is 5 1/2 weeks. It was a lot of fun!! We ventured out at 8:30 am to beat the rush of people since it's supposed to be 76 degrees today! We walked all over then had lunch in a little restaurant there. It was a lot of fun. Before we even hit the highway Jackson was asleep!

Jackson and Mommy's Spring "Break"
Last Saturday Jes, Jackson and I were sitting around enjoying our morning... we were talking to his parents on msn messenger on webcam and they looked up at their clock and said if we left right now, I wonder what time we'd get there. That got me thinking... I didn't have to work until Friday (or so I thought) so I asked Jes if that'd be okay with him. Beings as he had to work all evening Saturday and Sunday, was on shift all day Monday and school all day Tuesday. He agreed and I decided I would leave Sunday when he left for work at about 12. Well, then I remembered my cousin Lee had a mission talk on Sunday in Connell, so we left at 4 on Saturday afternoon instead. I went straight to Walla Walla and stayed with Jes' parents. Sunday morning I woke up earlier than I have in a really really long time and picked my mom up to take her with us to Connell. (Side note, it snowed about 2 inches Saturday night) My mom called to tell me about it and see if I still wanted to go. I did... so I picked her up about 7am and we headed out. Once we got out of Walla Walla the snow was gone, so the drive went well. We attended all of Connell Ward's meetings. Jackson even stayed in Nursery the whole time!!! He did great!!! I'm so proud of him! Afterwards we headed over to my Uncle Jed and Aunt Diana's for lunch. After awhile there Jackson was getting pretty cranky so we headed out so he could get a nap. I dropped my mom off and headed over to Jes' parents for Sunday Dinner. (They have a big family Sunday dinner every week... unless they're visiting us of course) We had Chicken Alfredo. That night I managed to trip over the baby gate at the bottom of their stairs and I have a pretty bruise on my forearm... still! Monday I was hoping to sleep in a little more than Sunday morning, but I think Jackson had other plans... so we were up early enough to say goodbye to Grandma Bobi for her to go to work. After that Jackson and I got dressed and headed over to Great Grandma Sharon's house to hang out. We went and had breakfast at Mr. Eds. Then we drove around a couple of places running errands while Jackson took a nap in the car. I dropped her off and went over to my mom's and hung out with her the rest of the afternoon and part of the evening. We also ran some errands and gave Jackson another nap. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and playing with Jackson. We also baked 2 cakes. One for her house and one for the Goodson's cause it would've been Jack and Sharon's 52nd wedding anniversary if he would have lived. After we had some yummy pizza, Jackson and I headed back over to the Goodson's to have cake. My dad came over there to visit us since he had to work so late, it was nice to see him! Tuesday morning Jackson and I packed everything up and went to visit Alyce and Audrey. After that we went and picked Great Grandma Sharon up and headed for Tri-Cities. We visited with Jackson's Aunt Shari for a bit, then headed out to Vancouver. We got home about 4:30 and are now just enjoying Great Grandma Sharon's visit. Hope I didn't bore you all, I'll add some pictures now! :)
