We're in Walla Walla now! =)

As most of you know we moved to Walla Walla last weekend. It's nice to be back with family and friends here. It was so hard in Vancouver because we didn't know very many people. I think Jackson is a little overwhelmed with all of the attention, but he is loving it!!! Whenever we pull up to either Grandpa and Grandma's houses he gets really excited and says "Papa n Mama's house!" I had a job interview last Monday at ShopKo and got it. I was hired as a seasonal part time cashier. It should be fun, I just hope they decide to keep me, but if not I'll be looking for another job I suppose. Jes has started at Sears here and is enjoying it. The store here is maybe 1/4 size that Lloyd Center Sears is. I'm enjoying all these nice fall colors and everything that goes along with fall... like the holidays and good food!!! Here's some pictures of what we've been up to. We had a good Halloween and hope you all did too!!!

Last Monday we took Jackson over to Klicker's Pumpkin Patch and he picked out a pumpkin. It was really quick cause they were closing 10 minutes after we got there. He had a good time though!

Last week in Vancouver Washington

Jackson and I enjoyed a dry afternoon yesterday to go for a walk to the park. I got some pretty cute pictures out of the deal--- Above is 1 of the many.

My 2 year old knows his ABC's!!! He's so stinkin' smart!!!

All I have left to pack is mainly our kitchen and all week to do it!! We're looking forward to being in Walla Walla next week at this time!!!

Moving!?

It's true... for those of you that don't have facebook to have found out a week ago. We're moving back home to Walla Walla. Nothings wrong, just realized Jes is almost done with his internship, then the only thing keeping us here would be Winco and Sears... Yah, we didn't think it was worth it either, especially if you saw my last post. That way we'll be home for the holidays too!! We can't wait!!! Jackson and I are heading that way on the weekend of the 24th of October and Jes will follow that week... possibly the next. Just thought I'd let the world know! =)

Blah... Blah... Blah =)

Another exciting couple of weeks have gone by. On Monday at work I managed to cut my left inner wrist with a box knife at work--- it's pretty bad. They immediately took me to the ER for stitches. I got 3. Seems a lot worse than just 3 stitches, but oh well. It still hurts a little and I dread work tonight. Between probably getting made fun of all night and trying to work as fast as I can to finish the load to please the boss. We'll see how it goes.

yah this hurt pretty bad!

all stitched up...

Jackson's definitely a 2 year old!!! Little stinker! Can't take him anywhere without a scene anymore it seems. He's learning that sitting in time-out really isn't that fun. Seems like the more we put him in time-out the sooner he comes to us saying sorry for whatever he did. He's such a sweetheart!!! As I'm on here he's in his fire car telling me goodbye. He's good at pretending. He's going to be a doctor for Halloween which we're heading to Walla Walla for just so all of you over that way know.

the cutest doctor i've ever seen!

testing out his stethoscope... i think it tickled his ears.

Jes is busy busy busy on his internship and working for Sears. He only has about a month left then he just has to take all the tests, then he gets his certificate. One of the places he has to go to take a test is Stockton California though, so that one will not be as easy to get to. We're anxious to be done with school for now and so Jes can finally do what he's always dreamed of! He's says it's my turn to go back to school now. I seriously have no idea what to go for. I would love to go, I just need to do some research I suppose.

We should be getting our car back on Friday. As much as I was excited for the Corolla as a rental car... I'm very anxious to have my car back. The Corolla is so small compared to our Malibu. We have to scoot the passenger seat all the way forward so Jackson doesn't kick it. It's annoying. But yah, Friday is the estimated day so I'm glad!

Here's a cute video of Jackson playing T-Ball. It didn't take him long to learn and now he just loves it!!! How old do they have to be to start a T-Ball team?! That would be fun!

A lot going on...

It's been nearly a month since I posted... I'll explain why...

So we went to Walla Walla for Jackson's 2nd birthday party and me being the intelligent person I am (ha ha) put our laptop on top of the tv in the spare room of Jes' parents house and plugged it in across the floor under a desk... I went in the wake Jes up from a nap trying not to wake Jackson up cause he was sleeping so cute. I took a picture and then managed to trip over the cord and the part where the power cord plugs into the laptop shifted up and broke off the board. So basically the computer is toast!!! Kind of crappy, but accidents happen.

Jackson's 2nd birthday party went well!!! There were 50 people there!! He got nice and spoiled by everyone who came and we thank all of you!

Working nights is going well. I'm still enjoying it and loving the good money it brings in. It feels good to feel like I'm actually contributing, ha ha. Jes' mom works for the VA Hospital so her and Jes' dad came last week for a meeting she had for a couple days and I jokingly said, you can take Jackson's home with you... well, beings as she's returning in [12 MINUTES!!!] for another meeting I let him go. I've never left him overnight and I'm sending him 300 miles away for 3 nights!!! Call me crazy... I missed him so much and I'm anxious to see him so soon!!! It was a nice break.

Although-- yesterday Jes was going to get off early [at 1] and called me about 1:10 and said... I got in an accident... I thought he was joking, but it was very clear he wasn't. He was going down Grand in Portland and some idiot in a full size truck pulled out of the McDonald's parking lot cutting straight across 4 lanes of traffic to cut through and Oil Can Henry's parking lot. Well, his truck being big Jes thought he was just turning out wide to accommodate the rest of his vehicle... nope... by the time Jes realized it it was too late. He t-boned him in the Malibu.. So here I am at home only been asleep for an hour and a half and I'm heading to Portland to pick him up. When I got there the tow truck was on it's way and we waiting until he left with it then we headed to the Leif's Auto Collision where it's going to be fixed... gave them all the info they needed, came home... called insurance to report it, then off to Hertz for a rental car. We got a beautiful blue Toyota Corolla. I love it!!! I teased Jes and told him it was my birthday present to have a rental car. I don't think he thought that was very funny. He didn't get hurt at all thank goodness, but please keep us in your prayers as this is going to be a battle to decide who was at fault... the Oil Can Henry's manager watched the whole thing and had watched the jerk do it multiple times before in the day... so we're hoping with him as a witness that saw the whole thing they'll take our side.

OUCH!!!

I LOVE THIS CAR!!

I hope you all are having a good week!!!

BYE BYE BINKY!!!

I took Jackson to get his teeth cleaned at the dentist yesterday and he told me he could tell Jackson was a binky sucker... needless to say it didn't take much convincing that we HAD to take it away... well I think I did the trick today. =)

What I have learned in the past month and a half...

I have now been working nights at WinCo for a little over a month and a half and I tell ya I've learned some interesting things...

* Weird people shop in the middle of the night.

* Normal people shop in the middle of the night.

* People take their small children out at 2am and let them scream through the whole store.

* There are some guys that work there that are just kinda creepy.

* There's a lot of old grumpy ladies.

* There's a HUGE variety of pads and tampons (I've always gotten the same thing... now that I stock them I feel like I'm in that section for hours.)

* When wives send their husbands on a tampon/pad run no matter if they need help finding the right one or not they will refuse your help... GUYS---ask and you won't be standing there as long!!! (but is it funny to watch you get really embarrassed.)

* Too much smelling of soap isn't a good thing. (headache with all the smells together)

* Herbal Essences shampoo has some weird names... I can't think of any off the top of my head, but look next time you go to the store.

* There's so many different kinds of toothpastes.

* Pregnancy tests sell like hot cakes.

* Today I stocked 'scratch and sniff' toothbrushes... wow, really?!

* There's a vitamin for everything... off brand is a lot cheaper!

* It's interesting to see what people shop for in the middle of the night and the combination of things. ie; Pizza Rolls and Soap.

* While stocking 'Hanson's Soda' be very careful cutting the box. (I got squirted in the eye with Pomegranate Juice.)

* Don't drop the BBQ Sauce... it will go everywhere and be very sticky!

* Just because someone is older than you doesn't mean they get permission to boss you around. (I've let both ladies that think they can boss me around know that I don't like it and now they're kissing up to me all the time.)

* It's really not that bad working nights... it goes by rather quickly now that I've been getting used to it.

* They drug test there... do I believe it? ... No. haha

That's just a few of the things... I'm still enjoying it though. It's usually quite entertaining.
