Things are coming together!!
Tomorrow marks 8 weeks of us living here in Colorado Springs. We are all adjusting and starting to really feel at home. Jes' supervisor, Greta has really reached out to the boys and I while Jes has been working. We've been going to church with her and her family. Her and her husband are both paramedics for Rural Metro and they have a little girl who will be 1 in a couple weeks. Jackson started going to Awana yesterday and really likes it!! I think it's good for him to be better prepared for Kindergarten. It's such a relief to finally feel like we belong here.

cRaZy DaY!!!
Holy cow it's been crazy.. it's been good then bad, then good... then bad again and now it's just good (I hope!!)
So... in December when we still lived in Yuma I had some dental work done... 3 crowns and a filling, yah ouch!! Well, it's still been bugging me and I've been in a lot of pain and getting frequent headaches. No fun!! Today I decided I have had enough and called a dentist here in the Springs and they got me in today!! After x-rays and examining they found out that one of my crowns has a large gap between the crown and the tooth, therefore letting in all sorts of bacteria and anything else I put in my mouth causing me to have these awesome headaches... Of course when I heard that I wasn't happy with my prior dentist, but happy with my new one since they finally figured out what was causing me so much pain. I went back to my Yuma dentist so many times for adjustments trying to figure out what was wrong and they never caught it.. RIDICULOUS!!! Anyhow... called my Yuma dentist when I got home and I told her what happened and asked what they were willing to do to help me since I obviously have to get it re-done. She informed me that the dentist was writing off what we owe them (almost $700!!) They want me to be happy and oh my goodness I am so happy about not having to pay them a dime more!! I get to go get my crown re-done next Thursday and then I should feel a million times better!! Yay!!

Easter
We decorated Easter eggs the other night. It was a lot of fun :) since blogging works from my phone I'll probably blog a lot more.. No promises tho!! :)
Jacob is 1!!
I'm attempting this on my phone.. Does it work? Jacob seemed to have a wonderful 1st birthday especially since his ear infection was gone by then. We enjoyed Jes' grandma and sisters visit!!

I suppose I've got quite the updating to do!!
Well... the news is we are moving to Colorado Springs!!! We pick up the U-Haul this Saturday and head for The Springs on Sunday!!! We have known for almost 3 weeks now, so it's a quick move for sure!!! Right when we found out we started packing of course and since we move about every two years I am a pro!!! As I type this right now there's "a million" boxes packed and ready to be loaded. That's Jackson's close estimate. :) We are excited to start our new adventure... it's a little hectic and crazy as we try to say as many goodbyes as we can before we go. Yesterday put a damper on things though... We found out we got the house we applied to rent, so I took off to the bank quick to get a money order in the mail to secure it and I got a text from Jes right when I got there that said, "I need stitches" In a panic I rushed out and on the way home called my friend and asked if we could drop Jackson off while I took him in. I got home and he showed me what he had done... He was wrenching on his jeep and I don't know all the names of what tools he was using, but pretty much one of the bars he was using catapulted into his face right below his lip and he thought that there was a hole. He bit into his lip pretty good, so there's a gash on the inside from his teeth and a gash on the outside from the bar. We both thought it was a hole all the way through so I took him in.... Soon after we got to the urgent care I get a call from my friends saying Jackson's puking. ugh!!! WHY?! After picking him up he seemed better and everything was fine for the rest of the evening. Then this morning he didn't wake up until 9.. which is super weird!!! When he did wake up he came out holding his belly crying telling me he really needed water, so I got him a drink and he laid down on the couch and fell asleep. He was feverish, pale and lethargic. I thought well maybe rest is what he needs, so when he wakes up, hopefully he feels better.. not the case... he woke up and threw up again.. :( We canceled play dates and are having a chill day. I think we all needed it though since we've been on the go so much lately!! I tried to post pictures of the house, but for some reason it's not working... sorry

Good News... & Bad News...
I'll share the bad news first... apparently the job we've been waiting to hear about in Aurora, Colorado is STILL on a hiring freeze and they're way over staffed. We aren't too thrilled at the thought of spending another summer here, but it's looking more and more like reality. So the good news is, we aren't moving... FOR NOW!
It's a relief in a way because the thought of packing a house with two kids doesn't sound like a ton of fun to me. Living here in this house in Yuma is the longest we've ever staying in one place ever in our whole dating/married life. It's been almost 15 months. Crazy, I know... honestly I enjoy change (obviously, since we move every 2 years or less lately.) and making a new place 'home'. If any of you see or hear of any opportunities for a Paramedic pass it along!! We're open to nearly anywhere on this side of the states.
We are all doing well...
Jackson is getting taller, smarter and more and more funny everyday. Some of the things he comes up with just crack us up!! 4 year olds are the best... majority of the time. He definitely has his moments. Onery little guy sometimes!!
Jacob is 9 1/2 months now trying so hard to crawl, but instead has mastered things like eating real food, clapping, waving and copying just about anything we do. He loves to stand up and have us help him walk and I'm certain he'd rather walk than crawl. He loves his big brother and is a HUGE mamas boy!! He weaned himself a couple weeks ago and although he doesn't 'need' me as much he still thinks he does. Silly boy!
I'm keeping busy with my Mom's Club and the kids. The weather is beautiful right now and I'm dreading the hot hot summer... I think I should conveinently plan a trip home during June/July. I think we're aiming for July when my brother Jeff goes home too.
Jes is working hard as always. He recently got his Jeep going really good and has been happy to drive himself to work and back. We took it for a trip to the desert and had a good time this past weekend.
