When it's hot outside...
Going down the big tube slide!
As you all know, it's hot here.. not just hot, but over 104 everyday at least. This is why we've been frequent guests at the Aquatic Center down the road. Jackson absolutely loves it there and quite frankly, so do we!! It's pretty cheap to get in and totally worth every penny!! He's getting so smart!! He is rarely quiet for long.. usually asking questions about everything and if he's not talking to us he's talking to his toys. He's got quite the imagination. I think he misses having friends and family so close because often he'll say, "umm let's go Walla Walla". We keep having to explain to him that it's an airplane ride away.. of course then he says, "ohhh let's go fly in an airplane!"

If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but I'm pretty sure everyone that has Scentsy loves it!! What's not to love? It's a wickless candle that is safe for kids and pets!! Sunday, July 11, 2010
Arizona
We made it safely to Yuma last Sunday morning. The travels actually went better than I ever expected. Jackson enjoyed having the option of the U-Haul or the car. Everyone got a break from him that way too. We're enjoying it here. It is very hot, but that's a given. Jes started his job Wednesday and is looking forward to getting on an ambulance. He has to do quite a bit of training first. I've been at home trying to get the house together and keep Jackson busy.

We are moving on July 2nd, so if you want to say goodbye... you better do it soon!!! In the mean time, enjoy these awesome pictures we just got taken!!!

Wow, it's been awhile!!
My mom and sister keep reminding me about how less often I blog. It seems as if everyone has a facebook now to keep up with me that I didn't think it was necessary, plus.. I hardly ever get comments. Yes I'm whining.. why sit here and think of what to type and post pictures to have no one even comment. I could be sleeping.. I should be sleeping. Jackson is and that's rare this weekend/week. He's been sick since Friday. Temperature of at least 102 off and on (thanks to alternating motrin and tylenol) He's thrown up 3 times so far and is just miserable.. and so am I really. I'm tired of the nasty cough and having to cancel plans and such. I did make it to work today though. I plan on taking him in to get checked out in the morning and depending on how that goes I may or may not go to work tomorrow. We will see.
We have been so busy.. obviously, I haven't blogged since Jackson's stitches!! That seems like forever ago. Jes is still at Sears and I'm still at ShopKo. In addition to those two jobs he's a caregiver at Eagle Springs Memory Care home and I'm a housekeeper at the same facility. It's not great, but it's not horrible. I guess there's just not much good news to share. Still Paramedic/Firefighter job hunting.. still no luck... story of our lives.

Not quite 2 1/2 and stitches already!!

While I was at work last night... mind you, I've had the past week and a half off... Jes was getting ready to go to the fire station for the Monday night training and Jackson was "helping" him. Jackson managed to trip over Jes' boots and landed his mouth right on a laundry basket. The top right corner of his mouth now has two stitches and is still pretty swollen this morning. He is very proud of his hospital bracelet though. Every time he sees it he says, "Doctor, Doctor". Jes said by the time they left the ER he was already in a way better mood and even thanked the Doctor.
