Baked Apple French Toast
I rarely share recipes, but this one is very good!!! I know that my nephew Colby can't have it... bummer!!! Sorry Joe and Kori!!!
Baked Apple French Toast
1 loaf french bread
1 cube butter
1 cup brown sugar
8 eggs
1 Granny Smith apple (or whatever you prefer, but the tart ones make for a great taste in this!)
On the bottom of your casserole dish melt 1/2 cube of butter and spread on bottom. Sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar over top of the butter. Grate your apple and sprinkle that over the bottom of the pan. Slice the french bread into 1/2 inch slices and line in pan. Melt the other 1/2 cube of butter, pour over the top. Sprinkle the other 1/2 cup of brown sugar as well. Beat all the eggs and put 1/2 and 1/2 in with it, or milk, once again, whatever your prefer. Pour the egg mixture over the whole pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until crispy.
THIS STUFF IS AWESOME!!!! :)
